The VnC Story
Once upon a time, not very long ago, there was a guy who worked
for a successful vodka brand sold all over the world.
The guy did a lot of traveling & he liked his job. But when
you work for a vodka brand & you throw a party guests expect a
nice drink. While the vodka exec could muddle together fine
ingredients he was always left in the kitchen making cocktails -
not enjoying the party. Because the vodka executive was a New
Zealander, he was a good lateral thinker. No one knows why New
Zealanders are good lateral thinkers. Maybe it's because they have
lots of space & there is only a few TV channels.
Anyways, his lateral thinking led him to the idea that premixing
cocktails would give him more time to enjoy his parties. He then
thought "why can't you buy premixed cocktails already?" and that
idea ended up being one of those ideas that ended up being a
brilliant idea.
So like New Zealanders often do, he bit the bullet, quit his
vodka job, grabbed a mate, & they traveled the world looking
for recipes. After traveling the globe sitting in bars (for
research only) they returned to New Zealand a little hung-over,
dehydrated, jet-lagged, but full of ideas & enthusiasm.
Together the two New Zealanders made cocktails by the vat full.
They tasted & tested (tipping lots down the drain) until they
came up with the perfect recipes. Now, being New Zealanders, they
used 100% natural fruit juice without any artificial colours,
preservatives or sweeteners. The reason for this was that they
didn't want to drink anything artificial. They also discovered,
during their testing sessions, that things tasted better using
natural things like fruit. They're also not scientists so had no
natural interest in test tubes.
And the rest is history. VnC Cocktails was born & people who
were shopping saw VnC Cocktails & thought "Hmmm. That's a good
idea." & when they tasted them they said "Hmmm. These are
delicious" and they bought some more. And the vodka executive, his
mate & the cocktail loving public lived happily ever after.
